How To Make Play Dough
Playing with play dough is one of those activities that just never gets old and can keep the kid’s active little minds busy for hours at a time. Playing with play dough is great for the development of smaller children as it promotes emotional release, creativity, small muscle development and hand eye co-ordination.
It’s also safe to eat (although it doesn’t taste very nice!)
Play Dough Recipe:
- 1 1/2 Cups Salt
- 3 Cups Flour
- 1 T Cream of Tartar
- 2 T Oil
- 2 Cups Boiling Water
- A few drops of your choice of food colouring combinations
You can also include glitter or essential oils to your dough.
Mix all of the ingredients together and knead until smooth. If the dough is dry add a few drops of water until desired consistency.
Keep in an air tight container.
